Most couples that are struggling come to a workshop focusing on the problem and want a miracle that’s going to “fix” their relationship.  Even if they’re completely open to a solution, they often can’t find one.  They may be stuck in their own triggers from their history (shame, trauma or anger, for example) or still hurting from something that has happened in their relationship.  They don’t know how to let go and they don’t know how to change.

Studies have shown that our emotional struggles are best dealt with when we combine talk therapy with experiential exercises.  Utilizing both modalities can help us come at the issue from a different perspective, which can offer greater insight and deeper resolution.

Through the use of action-oriented exercises such as psychodrama, sociometry, art making and music, couples will be provided tools to deepen vulnerability and emotional intimacy, work through conflict, build communication, and identify and begin to release defenses – or blocking styles – that are getting in the way.  Couples can gain insight into how their histories are impacting their relationship and together, can create a new road map for the future.

Friday through Sunday, July 15-17, 2016
9:30 am – 5:00 pm each day

Cost:  $900 if registered and paid by June 15th, 2016; $950 thereafter.  Payment plans and credit card payments are available.
