Drama Triangle in Action – Virtual Training

Training & Workshop Details

The three roles in Karpman’s Drama Triangle – Persecutor, Rescuer, and Victim – are all based in fear, and serve as defensive strategies when those engaging in the triangle feel threatened.  In psychodrama, we would refer to these behaviors as being in role lock – meaning people keep repeating the same role/behaviors over and over again, without resolution.  In addition, while each person has a default entrance into the triangle, each of them ends up switching roles when the dynamics change, furthering the dysfunction of their relationships.

Through the use of  Sociometry and Sociodrama, clients can shift out of Karpman’s Drama Triangle, and into Choi’s Winner’s Triangle, by taking  specific actions to explore solution, instead of staying stuck in the problem, and make commitments to engage in relationships differently moving forward.

Join us for this 2 hour virtual training  – for Helping Professionals only – where you will learn specific, practical, and effective action methods interventions – sociometry and sociodrama –  to help clients explore the Drama Triangle in action, and transition from the problem of being stuck in defended roles, to the solution of roles of responsibility, options, and boundaries.  These action-based skills can level up your clinical skills, and be applied directly to your work with clients.
