Training & Workshop Details

Human beings tend to see the value of a behavior – even an unhealthy one – more than the cost.   They rationale and justify what they’re doing, because it’s too scary or painful to consider an alternative.  By exploring it in action, however, we can help the protagonist engage their better angels, and have a felt sense of what that shift would feel like.

Using the Addiction Compass model, created by Anna Chesner, which is applicable for ANY behavior or belief, we will use action to explore how promises and protection can override the reality of what a behavior costs, to help the protagonist access the Higher Self/Wise Mind, gain clarity, and make a commitment to move towards healing.

Join us for this 2 hour virtual training  – for Helping Professionals only – to learn specific, practical action methods interventions – including doubling and role reversal – to help clients explore their relationship with addiction, and motivate them towards change.  These skills can be applied directly to your work , and help you level up your skills.
