Training & Workshop Details

One of the benefits of combining psychodrama with parts work is that by using action, you can talk with your parts, and to them, rather than just about them.   By stepping into parts of yourself through action, you can gain clarity and purpose on those parts that save you, those that serve you, and those that can sabotage you.

By using action-based techniques such as interviewing, sculpting, doubling, and role reversal, you will have a deeper understanding of how the matrix of your parts interact with one another, and how to help rearrange their structure to help them work in greater harmony.  You will also learn how to implement an intrapsychic social atom – a diagnostic and therapeutic tool – to gain greater clarity on your inner parts structure, and help them to rearrange it to allow you to move forward on your healing journey.

Join us for this weekend training  – for Helping Professionals only – to learn how to use action methods in your clinical work, so you can help your clients move through internal confusion, conflict and fear into a life of greater contentment.

Please note that while we will explore parts work in general, and will likely include the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, this is NOT an IFS training.

COVID POLICIES

Due to the on-going Covid-19 epidemic, participants are asked to bring rapid Covid tests each day in time to complete the test before we start the workshop, or complete the test prior to arriving, and bring your test as proof of a negative result. If anyone either tests positive for Covid-19 or has illness symptoms, we ask that you not return for the remainder of the workshop and a credit will be given towards a future workshop for time missed.

If there is reason to believe your test is a false positive (which studies show are rare), you can get a PCR test and may be allowed to return to the workshop with:

  • a negative test
  • no symptoms
  • a willingness to wear a medical grade mask (N-95, KN-95, KF-94, or surgical)
  • other group participants feel comfortable with this

General mask requirements for the workshop will be dependent on local ordinance and communicated prior to group.

PLEASE NOTE

We also request that all workshops and trainings be scent-free (other than pure essential oils). Many people have allergies to such substances and we appreciate your abstaining from wearing any perfumes or colognes while participating (essential oils are ok).

Since many people have allergies to pet hair and dander, please be mindful of wearing clothing that is as free of these as possible, so as not to cause an allergic reaction in others.

There is no eating permitted in group (this includes mints, gum, etc), as it can be distracting to you and fellow group members.
